Fall Stair-Step Card

How about a fun fold for today's cardmaking technique? These are called stair-step cards, and it it a variation on an accordian fold.

Begin with a piece of cardstock that measures 10.5"x 5.0". If you want to stamp images on the cardstock, now is the time to do so. It is perfectly fine to just add designer paper and embellishments later on.

Score your cardstock at 1.25", 2.5", 4.25" ,6" and at 8.25"

Fold with hills and valleys (accordion style) making sure that the smallest fold
(1.25" ) is folded down as this will be the front of your card. Please refer to the photos to help you.

Now comes the best part---decorate your card with coordinating patterned papers, complementing stamps and embellishments. Go to town, have a blast and be creative!
Don't forget to share your cards in the KNK gallery!
